An early morning police pursuit through Fulton and Marshall counties reached speeds of approximately 130 mph before ending in a crash on U.S. 31 at 17th Road, according to Indiana State Police.

An Elkhart police officer was taken to the hospital Tuesday evening after his squad car struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle on West Franklin Street and rolled onto its side. The officer reportedly suffered a minor injury, and the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is handling the crash investigation.
A Plymouth man was taken into custody after police say he crashed an electric scooter, left the scene and was later found hiding nearby. Officers reported his blood alcohol level was nearly four times the legal limit and discovered an outstanding federal warrant.

Plymouth Police have released additional details about Tuesday morning’s three-vehicle crash at US 30 and Oak Drive. Police say a semi failed to stop for a red light, striking another semi and pushing it into a car, while one driver was extricated and airlifted to Memorial Hospital.
Plymouth Police made an OWI arrest following a September 18 crash on Jefferson Street near Beerenbrook Street. Police said the driver had left the vehicle following the crash and was later located at her home.
