Plymouth Police have released additional information about a three-vehicle crash involving two semis and a car Tuesday morning at US 30 and Oak Drive.
According to Plymouth Police, officers, firefighters and EMS responded to the westbound lanes of US 30 at Oak Drive at approximately 7:15 a.m. September 22.
Police said Travis D. Maclain was stopped at the westbound traffic light in a 2008 Cadillac STS. Kostadin G. Vasilev was also stopped at the light in a 2019 Volvo semi.
According to the preliminary investigation, Sherbie M. Reyes was traveling westbound in a 2027 Mack semi and failed to stop for the red light.
Police said the Mack struck the rear of the Volvo semi, which was then pushed into the Cadillac.
Reyes was extricated from the semi and airlifted to Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries. No injuries were reported by the other two drivers.
Plymouth Police, Plymouth Fire and EMS, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Reichert and Knepp Wrecker Service and Lutheran Air responded to the crash.
