A traffic stop near U.S. 31 and U.S. 30 turned into a pursuit that ended in South Bend, according to Plymouth Police. The driver was arrested on multiple offenses after police said she surrendered without incident.
The Pulaski County Coroner鈥檚 Office has identified the man who died following Wednesday鈥檚 police pursuit as Keith C. Ernest, 56, of Winamac. Indiana State Police says a preliminary autopsy indicates Ernest died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
