South Bend Police are reminding those planning to attend Fusion Fest at Howard Park about several safety and security requirements that will be in place throughout the weekend.
Fusion Fest is scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
According to South Bend Police, clear bags are required for anything larger than a small clutch. Backpacks will not be permitted, even if they are clear.
Anyone entering the festival grounds will pass through a metal detector or be screened with a wand. Two entrances will be available, with security checkpoints at both, and all bags are subject to search.
Police also said no weapons will be allowed inside the festival at the request of festival vendors.
Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.
South Bend Police said several officers will be working at the festival throughout the weekend.
