Two local businesses are getting a little extra attention this holiday season as part of the 2026 Indiana Grown Holiday Gift Box.
The Indiana State Department of Agriculture announced Monday, November 2, that this yearâs gift box features 14 items from 11 Indiana businesses, including two from the Michiana area.
Dutch Waffle Company in Plymouth is contributing two packs of its handcrafted stroopwafels, while Millerâs Orchard in Nappanee is providing traditional Amish apple butter made with apples, cinnamon and spices.
Other items in the box include locally made lotions, lip balm, seasonings, popcorn, honey, granola cookie bites, tea, chocolate and a gingerbread-scented candle.
Only 400 boxes are available this year, marking the fourth year of the Indiana Grown Holiday Gift Box program.
The holiday boxes have proven popular in previous years. According to the Department of Agriculture, the 2024 boxes sold out in less than two weeks and were shipped to 35 states. The 2025 boxes also sold out, with shipments reaching 44 states, including Indiana.
Shipping and Ordering
The holiday gift boxes cost $90 each, plus $10 for shipping, handling and taxes, bringing the total to $100 before additional credit card processing fees.
At the time the ordering page was reviewed, 390 of the original 400 boxes remained available.
The boxes ship using three-day ground shipping with tracking and insurance. Shipping dates are scheduled between November 5 and December 17, and orders cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes.
Indiana Grown is a statewide initiative administered by the Indiana State Department of Agriculture that promotes products grown and made by Indiana farmers, producers and artisans.
