Indiana drivers are getting another month without two state gasoline taxes after Governor Mike Braun extended the state’s gas tax holiday through December 4.

The tax break first began in April and suspends collection of Indiana’s Gasoline Use Tax and Gasoline Excise Tax.

Braun signed the latest extension on November 4, citing continued disruptions to global oil supplies, including conflicts overseas and Canadian wildfires.

There’s also some relief for Indiana farmers and timber harvesters. A separate executive order continues allowing them to use dyed diesel fuel when hauling agricultural and timber products on Indiana roads.

For now, the gas tax holiday is set to end December 4, unless the governor extends it again.
