Two Plymouth residents were arrested Sunday night after police responded to a reported no-contact order violation at the Economy Inn on North Michigan Street.

According to Plymouth Police, officers were notified around 11:40 p.m. on October 25 that Christopher L. Langley, 45, was reportedly violating a no-contact order involving a woman at the motel.

When officers arrived, they found Langley inside room 210 with the woman he had been ordered not to contact.

During the investigation, police say Sue A. Christlieb, 49, concealed herself inside the room and refused to identify herself despite multiple warnings from officers.

Both Langley and Christlieb were arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Langley faces charges of invasion of privacy, false informing and unlawful use of a police radio.

Christlieb faces charges of assisting a criminal, resisting law enforcement and unlawful use of a police radio.

Police did not provide additional details about the police radio charges. Both individuals were issued court dates and bonds, although the amounts and dates were not included in the release.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
