The Marshall County Historical Society & Museum will host a Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture on Friday, November 6, featuring Sister Judith Diltz and a look at 175 years of history behind the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.

The presentation, titled “175 Years of PHJC History,” celebrates the 175th anniversary of the organization’s founding by Saint Katharina Kasper.

Sister Diltz will share some of her research into the history of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and explore how the organization continues to serve people in Marshall County and around the world, particularly those who are underserved.

The lecture will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Marshall County Historical Society & Museum, located at 123 N. Michigan St. in Plymouth.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch and enjoy the presentation.
