Under City Ordinance 96.001, it is unlawful to obstruct any street, alley, sidewalk, crosswalk or public place within the city with goods, rubbish, signs, markers or other materials.
The ordinance also prohibits occupying more than one-fourth of a sidewalk with goods or merchandise during receipt or delivery for longer than two hours.
Violations carry a $50 penalty.
