Downtown Plymouth will get into the holiday spirit on Saturday, November 28, as the city’s 2026 Old Fashioned Christmas Holiday Lighted Parade makes its way along Michigan Street.

The parade begins at 6 p.m. and will feature illuminated entries celebrating the Christmas season.

The City of Plymouth is inviting bands, dancers, animals, floats, marching groups and other creative entries to participate. There is no fee to enter, but all entries must be illuminated.

Those interested in participating must submit their parade application to the Mayor’s Office by Tuesday, November 24, at 4 p.m.

Parade rules prohibit throwing items from floats or vehicles and the use of confetti cannons. However, candy and other items may be handed directly to spectators.

The celebration will also welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus to downtown Plymouth.

Applications can be submitted to the Mayor’s Office at 124 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth.
