Plymouth Police arrested a 45-year-old Plymouth man Sunday evening following an investigation into an alleged protection order violation.
According to Plymouth Police, Patrolman Thornton received information on September 20 that a man had been seen with a woman who was currently a protected party against him.
Police said Thornton located the suspected vehicle and identified the occupants inside.
Christopher L. Langley, 45, of Plymouth, was taken into custody.
Police said that while speaking with Langley, his phone revealed he was actively listening to the Marshall County Scanner.
Langley was transported to the Marshall County Jail and charged with Invasion of Privacy and Unlawful Use of Police Radio.
The incident was reported at approximately 7 p.m. at the Economy Inn.
