According to Plymouth Police, a 25-year-old Chicago man was arrested Sunday after officers responded to a report of two males fighting near Pilgrim Lane and Western Avenue.
Police said officers were dispatched Sept. 27 after a caller reported two males actively fighting in the middle of the street. Officers located both men walking in a grassy area near American Container.
Police said Angel Bustamante was walking south toward an officer and appeared to have blood on his face. According to the release, the officer made several attempts to get Bustamante to stop and warned him that a Taser would be used before deploying it to detain him.
Another Plymouth officer arrived and placed Bustamante in wrist restraints.
Bustamante was taken to a hospital for clearance before being transported to the Marshall County Jail, where police said he was lodged for public intoxication and resisting law enforcement.
