A Plymouth man was taken into custody early Thursday morning after police say he called dispatch and said he wanted to turn himself in on an active warrant.
According to Plymouth Police, Marshall County Central Dispatch received the call around 4:31 a.m. Sept. 25 from a man later identified as 36-year-old Erick R. Rios.
Rios was taken into custody shortly afterward in the 600 block of Blue Ridge Trail and transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Police said the active warrant listed operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment, reckless driving and knowingly or intentionally operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.
Rios was being held without bond, and a court date was pending at the time of the release.
