A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday night after police say he threatened several people, including children, with a knife while they were gathered around a campfire.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, officers responded to the 700 block of Broadway Street around 9:17 p.m. on October 17 after receiving a report of a man who had come outside carrying a machete and threatened people gathered around a campfire.
After speaking with several witnesses, officers identified the man as 58-year-old Ruben Ramirez of Plymouth. Police say Ramirez was intoxicated and had threatened both adults and children with a knife.
Ramirez was arrested and taken to Plymouth Hospital for jail clearance before being transported to the Marshall County Jail.
He was booked on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
