Plymouth residents will see a change in how bulk trash items are collected beginning November 1, 2026.

According to an announcement from the City of Plymouth Mayor’s Office, Republic Services will no longer collect bulk items on the first Monday of each month.

Instead, bulk items will be picked up on residents’ regular weekly trash collection day, either Tuesday or Wednesday, during the designated bulk collection week.

Residents must place approved bulk items at the curb by 5 a.m. on their scheduled collection day.

The city says the change is intended to improve efficiency and provide more consistent service by aligning bulk collection with regular trash pickup.

Residents with questions about bulk collection guidelines or their pickup schedule are encouraged to contact the city’s office.
