Marshall County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has announced two more opportunities for adults 50 and older to receive free weather radios during upcoming events in Plymouth and Argos.
The radios were purchased by AARP and will be distributed by Marshall County EMA through door prizes and random drawings.
The first giveaway will take place at the Senior Expo at Plymouth High School on October 15, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to Marshall County EMA, five weather radios will be included in the event’s general door prize collection, while another 10 radios will be awarded through a random drawing.
A second giveaway is scheduled for the Argos Fire Territory Open House on October 24, from noon to 4 p.m. Five additional weather radios will be distributed through a random drawing.
Only adults age 50 and older are eligible to receive the free radios due to AARP grant requirements.
Marshall County EMA says additional information will be available at each event.
