Heartland Art Center will bring its signature Black & White Gala and Auction to The REES in downtown Plymouth on Friday, November 13, with an evening of art, music, performances and fundraising.
The event will run from 6 to 10 p.m. at the historic theater, located at 100 N. Michigan St.
Guests will enjoy live music from local and regional performers, artistic performances, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a curated auction. Organizers are also planning surprises throughout the evening.
A full bar will be available for purchases of beer, wine, cocktails and a special Black & White signature cocktail.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in black and white “creative cocktail” attire, with everything from classic and elegant looks to more artistic and unexpected outfits welcome.
Proceeds from the gala will support Heartland Art Center’s capital campaign, which is helping fund the transformation of its historic downtown Plymouth home in the former Montgomery Ward building into a new center for the arts.
While renovations continue, Heartland Art Center is holding exhibitions, classes, performances and community events at its temporary location in the Plymouth Historic Fire Station. Its gift shop is located inside One More Chapter bookstore in Plymouth.
Heartland Artists Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the arts in Plymouth and the surrounding region.
Tickets for the Black & White Gala and Auction are available at heartlandartcenter.org.
