A Plymouth man was arrested Thursday afternoon after police say a traffic stop revealed he had never obtained a driver’s license.

According to Plymouth Police, Patrolman Thornton stopped a vehicle near Water and Garro streets around 3:15 p.m. on October 29 because its registration was expired and suspended.

During the stop, police determined the driver, 47-year-old Gary Mauricio Alvarez Cespedes of Plymouth, had never obtained a license.

Alvarez Cespedes was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail on an allegation of operating without ever obtaining a license.
