Baugo Township Tornado Sirens Are Not Functioning

Urgent Public Safety Notice

As a result of today’s testing, it was discovered that both tornado sirens in Baugo Township are currently not functioning.

Residents who have a NOAA Weather Radio are encouraged to test their device to ensure it is working properly. Citizens should also make sure their mobile phones are set to receive emergency notifications and alerts.

Baugo Township Fire Dept, Elkhart County 911 Communications and the Elkhart County Emergency Management Agency are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.
